Is the Academy right for me?

Yes! If you work in hospitality and you are a Manager, Supervisor, or aspire to understand the Business of Hospitality better then this is the right course for you. It is designed to fit in with a busy working life and does not disrupt your working hours. It does not matter if you are 18 or 68 if you have an interest in upskilling your knowledge, skills and character in the context of the hospitality industry – then this IS the Professional Development that will fit in with your aspirations. You can apply for a completion certificate at the end and we recommend you keep a journal of your practical progress.

How long is the Academy?

The course is designed to be a comfortable 6 months, but we all learn at different speeds and with varying depths of inquiry, so you can go at your own pace. You may take 5 months, or you may take 9 months, depending on your intensity and the amount of work you put into transferring each lesson into practical changes in your business.

How does it work?

This Course is online and designed to work from the comfort of your home or office. All you need is a computer and the internet to start. To get the most out of the course, you should complete all the recommended reading and take action in your workplace. There are support systems in place for any extra help that you may need or any glitches you come across.  You will be required to prove that you understand each topic thoroughly by gaining 100% via a quiz BEFORE you start the next topic, but how much reading and practical work you do will be determined by your own enthusiasm and the quality of the relationship you have with your employer! You will also be connected to a Fb page so you are able to use that platform to keep in touch with the company and other participants of the Academy.
